Windermere Foundation Projects

Our local Windermere Foundation is active in helping homeless or near homeless children and families. Along with the financial contributions to local agencies, our agents, staff and clients help with the annual “Share the Warmth” coat and blanket drive during the months of November and December.

Some of the agencies we have helped are the The Arthur J. Curtis Children’s Justice Center,  Council for the Homeless, Innovative Services NW, the YWCA, Safe Choice, NW Children’s Outreach, Hazel Dell Elementary School’s “Coats for Kids” program, Share House and many others.

We also have a Windermere Community Service Day each June where ALL the Windermere offices work on local projects in the community. Past Community Service Day projects have included a bike rodeo at a local grade school – along with bike safety, every child in the school received a bike helmet; painting a local homeless shelter and installing new blinds for each room; helping a community get their neighborhood park started; delivering meals for our local Meals on Wheels Program and serving meals in local senior centers and collecting food for our local food bank.

The gift of hope

Everyone deserves….

….a home to shelter their family….

….food on the table….

….shoes on their children’s feet….

….to know that someone cares….

….every day.
